Rough drop for Hedwig. I guess answers the question of whether or not HEDWIG will live on after NPH.

Hedwig has already recouped though, so as long as they're covering their costs...

Plus didn't Hedwig not have two shows last week instead of the normal one?

Interesting that Bullets actually fell a few thousand even though it was in its last week. I bet that's fairly uncommon.

And poor Cinderella really took a tumble. I hope it picks up in September with the new cast.

Honestly, it's a big drop, but the average ticket price is still $105 and they're at 83% of gross potential. I can't imagine their nut is that high so I imagine they're still making money. The test will come to see if Andrew sustains these grosses. No doubt the producers were expecting this drop or even more; no one was expecting Andrew to sell as many $400 premium tickets as NPH.

It's gross potential was 82%... Looks like it's doing just fine (so far)

It had 7 shows, which is what it usually has.

That potential gross is still very good for HEDWIG. To answer the question above, the Saturday schedule was switched for this week only to 2pm and 8pm performances from the usual 7pm and 10pm performances.

The worst is yet to come this coming month. Some shows are on shaky ground....will their producers sink more money into then just to last till the holidays? Or will they be smart like the producers of Motown, whose advance has probably tumbled and it is not the smash hit is was for the first year. If they recoup as they say they will, smart to throw in the chips and not pour more money into it.

ONCE only made 46% of its potential gross, with a very low 66% capacity. I have a feeling it will close after New Years. Perhaps it will move to New World Stages.

Once and Cinderella are both hurting. I guess Cinderella is holding out for bumps from their new cast coming but I don't see why.

Neonlights, I kind of feel the same as you--isn't it time to just close Cinderella? But I've thought that in the past, and they've managed amazing grosses from stunt casting Fran Drescher and Carlie Rae Jepsen. Which I NEVER thought would work. So I'm incredibly curious to see if they manage the same with Keke Palmer and Sherri Shepherd. I counted them out a year ago, so this time I'll just wait and see!

I counted them out a year ago too. I was surprised by how well their box office did with Carly & Fran but that doesn't make up for all the weeks before that, and these weeks now after, where they are certainly hurting and not making their nut. No wonder they haven't recouped.

Summer is coming to end. Kids will be going back to school soon and most tourists are leaving NYC. I wonder how 'Les Miserables' grosses will be like after the summer. They might unfortunately need to start bringing in celebrities.

Once's grosses are going to take a tumble once September hits, it's not doing great at the moment. I agree it'll likely close by January.

Do you think Rock of Ages will continue after Constantine leaves? The numbers don't look great even with him there
