I was at a dinner theatre last night and learned that Audra McDonald was Evita there about 25 years ago. How amazing that would have been to see!!! I wish I could hear her sing that score. She also was apparently in The Wiz and A Chorus Line there... but EVITA?! That is just crazy awesome. I loved looking at the pictures they had (although there were only a few)!

I could see it but who would play Che & Juan Peron?

Don't forget that Anneliese van der Pol was only 15 years old when she was the youngest actress to ever play the role in a professional production.

Wonder what role she played in A CHORUS LINE. Thank you for posting those pics, BrodyFosse123! That's amazing. I'd kill to hear Audra sing "Home."

I think she should now do a concert of songs from her pre-Broadway roles.
I like your imperturbable perspicacity.

Imagine her in Seth's upcoming "Not Since High School" concert singing a medley of "Buenos Aires," "Nothing," and "Home."

You're welcome.
