Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone is going to Cabaret tomorrow, Saturday at 8 PM? I've never been to studio 54 and was wondering where the stage door is. What are the chances of Alan and Michelle being in? I am a huge Creek fan and am looking forward to see Michelle. Anyone on vaca this week? Any help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys. There's nothing in the world like Broadway.

Michelle Williams was on vacation a few weeks ago.
Does anyone know if/when Alan is going on vacation?

The stage door is on 53rd. When you're headed out of the show, with the stage behind you, head out the doors to your left at the back of the orchestra and not the way you came in... there will be barricades, pretty easy to spot.

The stage door is on the opposite side of the building. I would assume that Alan and Michelle would be in, but of course there is never a 100% guarantee. If you do go to the stage door, please share your experience as I am going in a few weeks and would like to hear how things have been going lately. Thank you.

I went to the stage door a couple weeks ago and it was great. Alan, Andrea Goss (Michelle's understudy, who played Sally that night), Linda, Danny, and Leeds Hill came out and signed for everyone who was there. They came out pretty quickly--I think only 15 minutes or so after the show ended. I gave Alan a gift and he tweeted about it the next day. :) I went to the stage door at Hedwig the night before and it was a total madhouse. I was three or four people deep in the crowd and never actually saw NPH with my own eyes (I'm fairly short), but passed up my poster and it was returned to me signed. I hadn't gone to a stage door in years and was worried they'd all become that crazy, but I'm happy to report that the Cabaret stage door experience was much more civil.

Enjoy the show, Buffy!

I went a few weeks ago and it was pretty civil. The bouncers/security all warn the fans beforehand that there will be no photos allowed with Alan & Michelle. You're welcome to take photos of them signing your playbill but that's it.

How many people were at the stage door? Did the actors attend to everyone?

Hey there, I went to the stage door a few weeks ago. The audience lines up inside the barricade which is set up so the audience's back is to the building rather than the street. The actors have more access to the street than the audience. When I went, Alan and Michelle came down the line and appeared to sign for everyone who was waiting. It was a very nice experience and it went pretty quickly. I was at a Sunday matinee so I don't know how a nighttime show would go, but I would imagine very similar.

Hope this helps!

Alan and Michelle signed everyone's playbills. Not a lot of people were there the times I went... perhaps because most people can't see the stage door upon exiting the theater? Good luck!

Hi guys sorry it took so long for me to respond. I was very disappointed in the show it was hard to follow. Michelle Williams is my childhood idol I grew up with Dawson's creek and was delighted to meet her. She was very good. Stage door was pretty empty for a sat night. My friend and I were first in line they announced no pictures only allowed to take a picture of them signing. Alan came right out. I had a good moment with Michelle she was really touched when I said how much her character on creek inspired me. I was always in the same grade as them. She was so nice and she was so shocked to hear it. I'm sure she's used to saying "I loved your performance". It's not my favorite show put it that way. I'd go if you got a VERY good discount. Alan seemed like he just wanted to get out of there. I know Sats are a long day. Have fun if you go. This younger girl cut me on the bathroom line "she had to go really bad" at intermission and then the same girl was the only one to get a picture with Michelle. It was a long night and I was so disappointed with the show.

How did that girl get a pic with Michelle? The bouncers were very strict with the no photo policy when I went to stage door a few months ago.

I saw the show last night and also waited for autographs. Michelle seemed very quiet and moody.

When I saw the show a few weeks ago a lot of people came out of stage door. But it must have been an off night for Michelle, because she was so sweet when I went.

When I saw the show they originally announced no pictures taken with them and they would not pose for pictures. But you could take pictures of them when signing. Halfway through the small line they began posing with people. I prefer not to be in the picture, but when it was my turn, Michelle insisted I take the picture with her. I gave somebody my camera, hoping they would know how to use my Nikon and the picture came out great. She could not have been nicer. I agree, must have been an off night.
