"It's now rather very common to hear people say 'I'm rather offended by that'. As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more than a whine. It has no meaning, no purpose. It has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that'. Well, so f**king what?"--Stephen Fry

I love Joan Allen SO much. I think she's one of our greatest living actresses and I can not wait to see this. That said, she really needs to lay off the injections. She looks like she's been stung by bees.

And I love Anthony LaPaglia. I touched his leather-clad elbow after View from The Bridge.

Agree about her talent and what she's doing to her face. And while, in gen., I'm not one of those "how the hell didn't she get nominated" people, I can't for the life of me understand how the Academy could have completely ignored her performance in Upside of Anger.

^ I was genuinely shocked that she wasn't nominated for that.

This film looks right up my alley. I've been on a Joan Allen binge lately since I watched the fourth season of The Killing (which is highly recommended).

King spoke highly of it.

He also spoke highly of DREAMCATCHER so take that as you will.
