Difficult Decisions Ahead in Responding to Police Chokehold Homicide

So, remember the guy who was killed via chokehold in Staten Island? Well, the cause of death was officially ruled as a homicide, and the sad/scary thing is that the cops might not be tried in court. It's a touchy situation since the cops backed the actions of their fellow officer who preformed the deadly chokehold. And, on top of all that, despite the fact that the Staten Island DA is looking into this, the island is where many police offers call home. So, even if there is a trial, the jury may not be fair and impartial since they would either know a cop in some form or another or be related to one as well.
