Congrats to you both! I know it is not easy and the fight is strong but it does pay off! I have a handful of friends who are long term cancer survivors. I am amazed by them all!

footnote: something not really emphasized enough. Not everyone who has different kinds of cancer has to go through chemo and radiation, etc. I did not. I only had surgery. I believe Phyllis probably had a much more difficult time than myself. Certain types of CA, when caught early enough only require surgery. The psychological factor is always what is most "scary". Good luck to anyone/friend/family battling, and keep up the strength. My oncologist, 21 yrs ago sAID: Most people survive
