Yes, thank you, Laverne.

It boggles my mind the obsession people have over correcting other's lack of political correctness and near obsession in snuffing out any comment that could be considered slightly transphobic, even from purported activists and allies. All the while the trans community faces rampant discrimination in hiring, incarceration, and in many areas, threats and denials against its very existence. A gay man on a trashy TV show shouldn't rank so high on the list of priorities.

Good for her. I thought her stance was fairly implicit, by not getting involved in that mess at all. But I'm glad she openly stated it.
