Jackie Mason ( remember him?) claims Hollywood is anti Semitic and anti Israel.

""In a pre-recorded segment, Klein in Israel asks the 83-year-old entertainer from his home in New York to comment on "Hollywood geniuses" like Selena Gomez, Penelope Cruz and Rihanna, who have criticized Israel for its response to Hamas in an ongoing conflict in Gaza.
"They come from these kinds of anti-Semitic, low-class backgrounds where a Jew is the most disgusting thing in the world to them," Mason answers, according to audio obtained by The Hollywood Reporter. "The ironic thing is that it's Jewish people who own these Hollywood studios … And they all hire these people and they depend on them for a living. Every penny they made is made from Jews and they hate every Jew just by nature." "

"Low-class" is some expert coded language. Personally, I'm so effing sick of Israel and Gaza I sometimes wish they'd mutually obliterate each other.

The irony of this man complaining about entertainers foolishly mouthing off about political and world events is too rich for words.

Remember how angry he got during his last solo Broadway outing when people said "Would you mind not referring to Indian cab drivers as smelly dogs?" and he got all bent out of shape. He thought people were meshuggenah.

Oy gevalt. I would think that the LAST person we need to weigh in on this situation in Jackie Mason. He makes Joan Rivers look calm and level-headed.

Why pay attention to a crazy old man--ANY crazy old man? He was meshuggeneh BEFORE he was senile. Now he's just irrelevant.

I will say this for Jackie: He did a great job in his Emmy-winning performance on The Simpsons. In 1991.

I liked the old Jackie Mason. Some of his jokes are classics, most of them making fun of Jews. Like - A Jew would ask his friend,"Dja eat?" Friend says "yeah." reply - "dja have cake?"

And one about how most people take the table they are offered when eating out, but Jews will sit there and complain about the location of their table.

Stuff like that.

I wish he would just stay with the humor, the rest is not so funny. But hey, " You know what Kinsey said to the sex maniac; you're okay in my book!"
