Gosh, this is exciting. I've always loved this show, and never seen it professionally done. Hope I get to see it -- particularly with either Carol Burnett or Alan Alda. (But I'd really love to see them together, they were the best part about the movie The Four Seasons.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Wish I could be there for some of those! I saw Debbie Reynolds in the show in Pasadena forever ago.

This is really awesome, but I wonder if FORUM is going somewhere else or if it is just opening in the spring.

Years ago I saw a benefit of Love Letters at Long Wharf Theatre with Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. It was perfection.

Seems it would be Dennehy and Farrow, assuming there is minimal preview period and they actually invite the nominating committee to attend...

Eligibility of Performers.
i) In order to be eligible, an actor or actress must perform in the role on the
productionís opening night and must perform in the minimum number of
performances to which the producer of such production must invite and
make tickets available to Tony voters as required by Rule 2(a)vi).
ii) If an actor or actress is otherwise eligible but is repeating a role for which
such actor or actress has won a Tony Award previously, such actor or
actress shall not be eligible regardless of the category that role may have
been placed in previously.

I would never buy a ticket for Mia Farrow. I mean, what kind of mother doesn't protect her children?

This is tremendously exciting! I'll definitely have to see Carol Burnett and Alan Alda, and will gladly pay two visits!
