The gameshow To Tell The Truth is being revived. Who will be the classy, immaculately dressed Kitty Carlisle? Who will be the loud-mouthed comedienne Peggy Cass?

I would love to see a revived What's My Line? But everybody knows Angela Lansbury. There's no disguising her.

I really wonder in this information age if they can get guests who would stump a panel.

I always loved on the original how they would spend a few seconds faking the audience out by one of the pretenders making a move like they were going to stand.

I also remember an episode where Kitty Carlisle had to excuse herself because she already knew the person they were interviewing. And with her social connections, I bet it was hard to find people she didn't know.

And when are they going to do a remake of Bowling For Dollars?

It is another thing unfortunately destined for the scrap heap in our march of progress.

So the printed book is flourishing and they still have five cent cigars. Bowling is really thriving these days. How many bookstores have closed including the big B/N near Lincoln Center. E books are, unfortunately, the wave of the future. Methinks the name applies to you. Wrong on the spending time alone remark. I am not pessimistic . I just no longer care about things I once did for a variety of reasons.

I loved all those shows when I was a kid.

And I love bowling, too. I still bowl occasionally. And every time I do, the lanes are packed with real, live people. Hmmm...
