Who's got 'em, where are they, and what are they of? I've got my hockey number (30) on my left wrist, and song lyrics (63 words) on the muscle of my left thigh.
Where do you live, and what are you thinking about getting? The stuff I have now is all in black, but I am as pale as a , so I know color would look amazing on my skin.
I'm in Midtown but I was going to to the Wooster Street Social Club to have it done. It's more expensive than other places I think, but their reputation because of NY INK is superb so it's worth paying a few extra bucks. And I'm going to get it on my arm.
There's a place in NJ that does some really bright color, so I was wondering if you were anywhere nearby, I'd recommend them. Funny that you were considering it while I started the thread. Go get it done if you're ready for it. I have a pretty ambitious one that I'm considering...
I've got three too. Crown of thorns around my ankle, done in black (inked in NJ). Tribal design over my right breast and half way down my right arm, done in black(inked in Pattaya, Thailand). Dragon holding a Yin Yang on my upper back, left side, done in color (inked in NJ). *pictured above*

I have a lower case 'd' on my inner bicep of my left arm for someone who passed. It hurt quite a bit, but I love it so, so much.
I keep talking myself out of getting the Rebel Alliance symbol on my inner right forearm. I just don't think I'm enough of a Star Wars nerd to never regret it.
The other night at my show I heard a girl talking about how she was going to get a Star Wars face tattoo next week. Now THAT'S someone who'll regret it.
This is a pair of Rocky Horror lips on the outside of my right upper arm. I got it around 35 years ago, long before it was trendy. I need another re-filling in of the color and I may go with purple.
Ive never had a tattoo in my entire life, but I am in the process of getting a major one. I am sleeving my right arm ( 1/2 sleeve shoulder to elbow completely wrapped around) as we speak! Outline is finished (in one sitting) and it will probably take 2 sittings for shading and coloring.
I'm going to one of the best artists for sleeves there is, which means I have to wait months for my next appointment because of how far in advance he books. It's also quite expensive hourly! But the saying you get what you pay for rings especially true for tattoos.
I may decide to offset it with a lower half sleeve on my left arm (elbow to wrist) in the future. But I'll give myself at least a year before I decide if I'm going through with it or not.
I *might* show a pic when it's finished. I'll bump this thread if I decide to. I do like to keep somewhat anonymous though, it's a small community, and that could give it away. . But who knows I might.
Sadly, no Buffy. The theme is vintage Hollywood. There are also hints to shows I've directed that are very special to me, so it's kind of like a little resume on my arm. I'm ready to get the colors added, but at the same time, the pain makes me not want to finish it! I have a high pain tolerance and can handle a tattoo, but for multiple hours in one sitting gets hard. They say after the first hour your body adjusts to it..... But not true. But that could be because the latter half was when they did the elbow and underarm...... Not looking forward to getting those colored in!!
A purple rose below my left collarbone, ruby slippers on my right ankle, and a calculus integral on my left foot.
I intentionally got them in places that could be easily covered OR easily shown off, depending on the situation. I've worked with people for years who are surprised when they discover I have a tattoo.

I once saw a guy with the Rebel Alliance symbol on his upper arm, right near the place where the humerus connects to the shoulder, several years ago - and I have to say, if I were to ever get a tattoo, it would be that symbol in that location.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
I want that crazy colored octopus on my right arm and shoulder cap, since everything I've gotten so far has been on my left side. I'm on the mend from shoulder surgery so I have to wait until two tiny incision spots fade a little bit more, but then I think I'm getting...dare I say it...inked?

I'm glad I'm not the only Star Wars nerd! When I was 5, I wouldn't go out and play unless I had on my black cords...I would then put masking tape down the length of each leg to have Han Solo pants.
