Hello all, So I have tickets to see this show in a few days (at 59E59) and there are only a limited number of critical reviews online about this, so if anyone has seen it, I would love to know what you thought of it. Thanks.

It was an incredibly moving piece. It's just Mona Golabek on stage with a Steinway grand piano recounting her mother's stories of WWII with the KinderTransport and the London Blitz. She tells the stories "as" her mother (Lisa Jura), interspersed with classical piano movements relevant to either the story or tone.
I was expecting more of dramatization, but the method of storytelling with the piano and projected images on the background of the stage was incredibly effective.
I had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Golabek at a local community college in my hometown during my junior year in high school. We had read her novel "The Children of Willesden Lane" for English class and they took us up to the college to see her perform what I'm assuming was an early version of this show. She was a very sweet and gracious woman and told her mother's story brilliantly.
