"Galavant"- Alan Menken musical TV show on ABC

"Galavant" will be airing this fall on ABC during "Once Upon a Time"'s break. "Glee" and "Smash" ultimately failed at producing quality television. Perhaps "Galavant" will succeed? I certainly hope so!

PS Apologies if this has already been posted, but my search yielded no results.

It looks AWFUL with only the actor from Psych looking like hes decent in it. I predict flop

I think it'll be one of those shows where it'll either be fantastically terrific, or a giant hot mess.

Menken/Slater's songs for The Neighbors were un-funny versions of Disney songs Menken has done better. The trailer seems to be the same, but I hope not. Still, it is smart to schedule it between the seasons of Once Upon a Time (though I have no idea how they will fill up the second half of the hour...) It will run for as long as it's filled, and not come back. But it kind looks fun (much better than the mess Once has become.)

That man is hot. The music/lyrics are as awful as the production value. Boy and I was looking forward to this.
