I know they were trying to avoid the festivals in favor of screening directly to distributors, but looks like they were unable to avoid it.

I cannot wait to see this film at the TIFF screening. I was rather hoping it would screen somewhere near me, since they haven't had any luck getting a distributor.

Screening at TIFF is pretty fantastic though. At least it's not some tiny film festival or something. Hopefully this will get it the push it needs to find a distributor.

Has anyone seen this or know anyone who has? I've heard it's not great... Although friends of the cast/crew seem to like it. I was excited for this, but I am just so thoroughly unimpressed with Jordan, who I think is the definition of mediocre, that I find I just can't get too enthused anymore.

I was impressed with the bootleg audio of the vocals we've heard from the leads (even though the audio was crappy). I'm at least excited for an eventual soundtrack.

I just got tickets to see this at TIFF on Monday, September 8. The first screening is Sunday, September 7, but I'll be at a music festival all weekend, so I had to settle for the second showing. I will post my reactions afterward, for those who are interested.
