Finding Neverland...

Am I the only one that is a little distraught about Finding Neverland being turned into a musical? I love the story and movie so much but man-I don't know. I know it will be very beautiful, I just don't want it to crumble like BigFish. What do you all think?

I saw the show this past weekend and there's nothing extreme to worry about! They stayed pretty true to the film, and the music was beautiful! I have to admit though, there was 1 scene at the very beginning of Act one that just seemed out of play and slowed down the story for it's five minute duration, the momentum after that though was spot on. But it was a preview performance of a new musical debut, there will always be quirks!

But I loved it, and from what I heard from other theatergoers, they loved it too.

Distraught? Really?

There is an entire thread about the show on the main board. And I concur: the show is beautiful.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
