Although this version is nice, I do have to say that I hate Lesley Ann Warren's portrayal of Cinderella. Her Cindy was so weak!! It was almost pathetic how she cried over the smallest things. I think it was because of this movie that Cinderella the fairy tale character has the reputation for being weak. Neither Disney's Cinderella nor Julie Andrews' Cinderella were as weak as Warren's. Those Cinderellas did not need saving, nor was marrying a prince their motivation for attending the ball, but that's exactly how Warren's Cinderella was written and acted.

AEA,
The original cplor renderings exist, as do the groundplans, etc.
A good number of the costume renderings and a few scenic renderings- in full color, as well as the groundplan for the layput of the entire scenic design, orchestra and camera locations are featured in the book THE PERFORMING SET: THE BROADWAY DESIGNS OF WILLIAM AND JEAN ECKART by Andrew B. Harris.

There are several full color pictures taken on the set during rehearsals and 44full colo costume renderings from Cinderella in addition to the above mentioned color scenic renderings and the complete groundplan.

The book also has ample color renderings and materials from many of their designs.. Golden Apple, Damn Yankees, Body Beautiful (and its genius show curtain), Mister Johnson, Li'l Abner, Pajama Game, Once Upon A Mattress, Fiorello!, She Loves Me, Mame... Etc, etc, etc...

In case no one saw it, here's Warren being interviewed at the Paley Center back in 2010 for the special's 45th anniversary.

Some clips of the restoration have posted. The movie looks even more beautiful than before.
