She doesn't. But she is passionate about her points of view. I hope it gets very heated. Looking forward to her return.

Listen, it's not shock they are wanting to get back to their hard news days that made them rating powerhouses in the world of morning talk. You bring back Rosie, test conservative voices and bring in producers who produce news shows? But I don't think there is anyone who wants to fight daily. I hope (and trust) they'll balance a good bit of news (which I enjoy) and fun segments when I think Rosie is great at.

Rosie has confirmed on Twitter that the Whoopi incident is "pure bull****" and not true.

I have also noticed the souring of Goldberg. In the past 4-5 months, she's become a particularly humorless presence. Once Walters left, Goldberg and Shepard no longer anticipated Barbara interrupting them and took on adjusted personas. Whoopie is now borderline snide at times, Shepard effusive and unstoppable, regardless of the topic. Whereas Goldberg parses her minimalist commentary, and when offered it's now usually negative, Shepard believes she must weigh in on every issue. The dynamic will change again, but Goldberg often behaves as if she'd rather be anywhere but there. It seems as if the show has offered new shows later into the summer than ever before, and maybe that's part of the atmospheric element. They sometimes seem like teachers forced to run summer school. It hasn't been enjoyable.

"but Goldberg often behaves as if she'd rather be anywhere but there."

She's always been like that. When she was doing Hollywood Squares, she became really bored.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I have not heard about Nicole but I've been told that October is pretty much a done deal. They originally wanted Rosie Perez or Eva Longoria. Longoria not interested, Perez knocked out because they didn't want two Rosies (stupid yet true). October though fills the Latina voice and has the "looks" (also stupid, also true).

They are moving to a new studio with a new set. The "casting" process has become a lot more complicated than expected as Whoopi and Rosie both are getting a LOT of say of who they sit by.

Nicolle Wallace would be a fine addition to the panel for their Republican voice, and she is, literally, one of the most informed Republican public person they could get, if she'd do it. Plus--bonus for how they like to dress the panel for appearance--she's the opposite of Hasselbeck in personality, education, experience, and palatability--and she's still blonde.

Isn't Nicolle Wallace one of the people who unleashed Sarah Palin on the country?

Well, Nicole Wallace was the only Republican in "Game Change" (so nicely played by Sarah Paulson) who came off as perceptive and able to see the writing on the hand, er, wall. I find her insufferable sometimes on "Morning Joe," but then I find that show unwatchable anymore.

Are they only going to have four co-hosts? Are they not filling the Walters spot?

I haven't been told of a 5th spot as they seem to be getting pretty tight on them missing shows this season.

I was hoping there was some truth to the Diane Sawyer speculation.

Who knows? They may sneak someone in at the last minute. My source says he hasn't heard about Diane Sawyer but I still think theres something to it. She left ABC News for what?

ETA: I don't think I worded my previous post the best way. The point of having 5 host was so Barbara could come and go and there still be 4 familiar faces when viewers tuned it. When it went to 4 regulars Babs would be gone and so would another making it 50/50 of regular co-host and guest co-host, something viewers apparently said they didn't like when surveyed. Therefore making producers/ABC tighten down on missing shows.

They are trying to secure a 5th host. Page Six is accurate. The other "chaos" isn't true.
