Elizabeth is so insecure because she realizes she would have nothing if she hadn't lost a reality competition and married a pro-football player. That sinking feeling she has that people will realize she's a fraud is based in reality.

It's funny, too, because in The Fight Heard 'Round the World (tm), I thought she was in the right. Rosie may have been furious about the split screen and all that, but in the argument along Elizabeth argued her place better. She was good at defending her own actions in that moment, and it didn't require Bill Geddie feeding her talking points in her ear bud.

But otherwise, everybody knows she's a skank and shooting a flare from her Fox News ghetto to try to get some traction off Rosie's triumphant return to The View isn't going to help her at all.

Megan McCain is being strongly reported to be announced as the next new co-host. I wonder if they'll have all the new hosts announced before the show goes on its summer hiatus in August.

Megan McCain would be perfect! But just about anyone would be a better choice than Sarah Palin. I doubt that they were ever seriously considering her, but if by chance she gets cast, I'd probably watch the first week out of morbid curiosity and then delete the show forever from my DVR. Rosie or no Rosie, I couldn't stomach Palin on a daily basis. Hell, not even as an occasional guest host! The show would lose what little credibility it has left by casting Palin.

I was told from a very reliable source that ABC had all intentions of announcing the final 2 ladies at the their TCA this past week but a deal fell through at the last minute.

I also can't believe it's been almost eight years since she had a feud with another person. I was curious to find out what the person had to say about her coming back and I found it.

so this is the last week of new episodes for this season and yet any rumblings or rumors about the other two (or three) new co-hosts have gone away. Really surprised no one's name has surfaced regarding any of the hosting gigs.

I can tell you that one contract is being finalized. The ABC crew was pretty upset they couldn't work out a good deal with McCain.
