good audition ballads for Sandra Bloom in Big Fish?

Hey everyone :) I am auditioning for Sandra Bloom for a production of Big Fish at my school. I am a mezzo-soprano/belter....What are some good ballads that would reflect Sandra's character without using "I don't need a roof". I was thinking "back to before" from Ragtime? Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
