Audition song for the MC in Cabaret?

I'm a tenor and I'm having a bit of an issue picking an audition song. I have a strong voice that is slightly classical with a strong belt.

The MC in Cabaret isn't about vocal quality, it's about the performance. Nobody cares if you can hit a High C for that role, it's the acting that counts.

Find something with character...look at any of Barnum's songs from "Barnum", there is a "Cabaret" parody song in "Musical of Musicals the Musical" Maybe "Simple Joys" or "Magic to Do" from Pippin. Your safest bets are any song that takes control, like "Trouble" from The Music Man, or anything sly and funny...maybe go in with something from Forbidden Broadway.
