Musicals with SMALL Casts

I am in the process of working with a small venue that could potentially host SMALL scale musicals (ideally with casts of 6 or fewer people, but could potentially be stretched). The musicals that would work best would be sung-through shows; shows with dialogue would have the option of being presented in concert form (with only critical dialogue being used).

Ideas I've already come up with include:
- Songs for a New World
- Closer than Ever
- Edges
- [title of show]
- The Last 5 Years

I am looking for more ideas to expand on the above, as I am hoping to create a long partnership with the venue and continue doing productions of this sort.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Musical of Musicals: The Musical. 4 person cast, piano only, and everything is staged with a chair, the piano, and even the sheet music copies ripped out of the piano player's book.

I initially read this as seeking musicals that somehow involved small cats, which seemed oddly specific/random.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Guttenberg: The Musical

The Big Bang (technically a play with music, but it's about two guys who are putting on a presentation of their musical for backers. It's awesome)

If you can stretch the cast to 10, Avenue Q would work.

You can do Avenue Q with seven, assuming your cast is made up of seven strong singers, since there won't be much harmonic doubling. I just played in the pit for a production that used this breakdown.

Princeton/Rod
Kate/Lucy/Singing Box
Nicky/Trekkie/Ricky/Bad Idea Bear Puppeteer 1/Singing Box/"Doubling" Puppeteer in group scenes
Brian
Christmas Eve
Gary Coleman
Mrs. Thistletwat/New Kid On The Block/Bad Idea Bear Voices/Bad Idea Bear Puppeteer 2/Singing Box/Trekkie "Body" operator/"Doubling" Puppeteer in group scenes

The few lines as "offstage voices" that are traditionally spoken by the Ensemble Puppeteers were done by the conductor from the pit. The show worked very well small, actually.

Can't Seussical be done with a small cast of 9-11?
