Hi guys, Does anyone have a current 30 under 30 code for Casa Valentina and When We Were Young and Unafraid? I can't seem to find my email for it. Thanks

Hi everyone, I did not want to start a new message thread so I am borrowing this one. Does anyone know how soon the 30 under 30 tickets sell out generally? I have no idea how many tickets they offer per performance. Stupidly, I missed the e-mail offer for Constellations two days ago, and now I cannot seem to find a seat for any of the dates offered. Just wanted to check if my chances are completely gone, or if I should call and try? I don't assume they will release new blocks of tickets or anything...? I really want to see this show, but cannot afford the regular prices. Any info on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would be surprised if they were sold out already.

I'm surprised too, but it seems that way... I guess they must have released very few tickets for each performance. Oh well. I guess I'll have to see if they will offer any kind of rush options (probably not). And I don't usually line up for rush tickets for more than 2 hours, so I think I might be out of luck for this one. 30-Under-30

I meant that you should call and ask. You should call and ask.

I tried to get my tickets for next week less than 30 minutes after the email came out. They were already gone.

My partner grabbed tickets for us through the 30 Under 30 discount offer two days ago. (I've aged out of that range, so I'm grateful). He happened to see the email right as it hit his inbox and pounced right away. He says that for the performance he chose--next Sunday--they had very few tickets, maybe 20-25 total. All in the rear mezzanine. So it looks like there was limited availability from the beginning.

I called immediately after getting the email too, but the seats were all crappy so I didn't bother. I will just wait til January.

Thanks for all your responses. No luck here. They really did have limited quantities. Sutton Ross, what's happening in January? Will they release new dates? Or are you just referring to the general slowing-down of ticket sales due to the end of the holidays?

The latter.

Hanabana, the 30 Under 30 tickets are released incrementally over the course of the run, so in a few weeks it's likely that they will release another block of tickets. I'm sure this production will have more interest than others because of Gyllenhaal's participation, and seats will sell faster than usual. So keep an eye on your inbox.

If the demand becomes overly high, I wonder if they will switch to a lottery system as they did for THE COMMONS OF PENSACOLA last year.

LarryD2, thanks for the info! That's great to know, I will watch out for future e-mails.
