Donmar Warehouse's CORIOLANUS. transfer??

Since I post here on average once a year, what the hell I may as well do a double. Does anyone know if there is a possibility that Coriolanus will transfer to broadway in the fall? Is it being discussed? In 2007 Jude Law's outstanding Hamlet crossed the pond, and made a huge splash. Considering that Coriolanus is possibly the most successful shakespeare play the donmar has ever done, you would think that there would have been a lot of transfer talk by now, no?

they want to transfer it but Tom Hiddleston's film commitments are making it very difficult to do so and it wont transfer without him attached, earliest maybe Fall 2015.

Fall 2015, geez….but Hiddleston only has one film lined up?? he's not nearly as in demand as a film actor as he and his people like us to believe.

No. Did i say that i did? The poster above said it was about his film commitments. He only has one film to do. And I do know that when it comes to a lot of roles he loses out to Fassbender, McAvoy andTom Hardy. It's no secret that his career is not at all what it was projected to be 3 years ago. And that's all. One film in the can, one to go. Calm down

well, why would you hyperbolize and ask me (rudely and sarcastically) that I have intimate knowledge of his plans? All I said was that he has one film on the horizon, in response to the above poster who said his film commitments are keeping him very occupied.

OK. So you don't think I'm rudely ignoring you, I'll answer. You write he has just one film on the horizon. How do you have such certainty about what his plans are? Do you know him or just what's listed on something like imdb, which lists only what's been announced or submitted to the site?
Your statement that he and his reps want us to think he's much more in demand than he is implies intimate knowledge of the state of his career and how he and his reps have chosen to publicize it. I was asking for some backup proof.
You seem to have a bee in your bonnet about this guy.

you're really aggressive, and argumentative, and it's not a good thing. Why are you so hostile? Geez. If I have a bee in my bonnet (I don't even know what that means to be honest.) than you must be one of hiddleston's psycho fangirls that starts to rage when anything that may be perceived negatively is said about him. Or maybe you just need an outlet for pent up aggression while you hide behind a wall of anonymity. Who knows. Moving on.

He just wrapped filming not too long ago for Crimson Peak and is in pre-production for both a film called High Rise and also I Saw The Light, where he'll be playing Hank Williams, Sr. If the earliest projected time frame for him to be available for a transfer is Fall 2015, then so be it. I'd rather have to wait that long than not get the chance to see it live at all.

There was talk of a transfer. Those talks are no longer happening. Not sure where people are getting "fall of 2015"
