Legendary voice actor, best known for voicing Shaggy in 'Scooby Doo', and Top 40 host, Casey Kasem, has been going through a lot of problems lately. The stepmother of his children refused to let them see their dad who has been suffering Parkinson's Disease, then he went missing, and now they stopped feeding him and giving water. This is a sad story.

This is so sad, let him go! We do better for our pets then we do our family members. Please, let Casey pass in peace and comfort!

I have to say that I am thankful that the three of my grandparents who have already passed have been able to do so peacefully and on their own terms without any of these kinds of crazy interferences from petty squabbling amongst family. Death, while a natural part of life, is also extremely difficult for those of us who are left behind to face, and can unfortunately bring out some nasty aspects from those who are witnessing it and are not ready to let go. I hope that his family can find some way to reach peace with what's going on and realize that none of this back and forth is going to help him go with the peace and dignity he deserves.

Unfortunately, when the family of a celebrity is "jockeying" for control like this, 9 times out of 10 it's to best position themselves for financial gain when the person passes.
