I remember him well from the Brit series "The Young Ones". I believe his writing partner Adrian Edmondson is married to Jennifer Saunders. That whole group was responsible for some of the best British comedy of the 80/90's RIP

^^ I agree. I was so sad to read of his death that I was going to write to my MP. Then somebody reminded me that as an American I don't have an MP. So I simply decided to write a letter to the lead singer of Echo & The Bunnymen.

Ugh. This one is terribly sad. I used to sneak eps of The Young Ones when I was, well, a young one. Such a wonderfully weird talent. I'm glad that Drop Dead Fred brought him to a larger international audience.
