Pit Seating @ the Richard Rogers-help!

I just bought tickets to my second Broadway show-2nd time in NYC. So excited! I'm seeing If/Then at the Richard Rogers. Being a newbie at this, I saw front row tickets and jumped at the chance. Upon purchase, I saw that the seats are not row A, but CC. I read that this is orchestra pit seating. Not sure if its a good or bad thing? Has anyone here been to the RR and seen if the seats are good/bad, especially with If/Then's set? I really hope I didn't make a mistake because I was out of my mind excited at the chance to be up close with Idina & Anthony Rapp. TY in advance!

I sat in the row behind and yes it is close and the set is high so it's not an ideal viewing angle, but the show was 10000x more engaging because of it. I wouldn't have it any other way. You made the right decision.

Thank you for the reply. It makes me feel better! I was afraid that I inadvertently chose a restricted view seat. I figured they would need to advertise it that way though, and the website said nothing like that. The idea of being so close to the action is SO exciting!!

I sat in the front row of the pit for this, and it's fine. You are very close, like I could have poked Anthony in the leg at one point, and Idina literally stands right over you, and I do think the mirror and lighting changes are more apparent from further back, but it's still certainly a primo place to see the show from.
