^ This. PRECISELY. If they came up with the bucks, they'd perform.

Wait....I thought Bullets WAS performing....Zach Braff mentioned it on the red carpet.

I thought the rap was pretty funny.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I just turned off the broadcast. Rap singers? And, I'm sorry, but NPH got the "Thank you for keeping our ratings up all these years, Neal" Tony award. I feel like the theater part of the Tonys is totally eclipsed by the Hollywood/popular music/ TV stars contingent. I know, I know, it is a TV show but it is supposed to be a live theater celebration. Hoped against hope that Bryce Pinkham might have won - extraordinary performer.

End of rant.

So Jennifer Hudson is performing tonight? Now wait, but Jennifer Hudson is a Broadway star. Oh wait, scratch that. But she's performed on Broadway, nope wait, again. OK well she's had a string of hit movies. Nope, again, hold off on that.

Yeah, people know who she is and can sing. I guess that's why?
