Isn't wishing ALL the nominees luck pretty much the same as wishing NONE of them luck?
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

And in addition, "tonights" cannot be THE night, as there seem to be more than one.

I don't speak for the OP and don't claim to know what he/she intended, but in its most literal form, i suppose that wishing all nominees good luck is essentially tantamount to wishing for 5-way (or 4-way) ties in all categories, so that all nominees can go home Tony Winners tonight and forever after be referred to as "Tony Winner ________".
