For this national tour why is there such a long layoff period from oct 27 until Jan 17? the tour starts, then goes on this unpaid 12 week hiatus before resuming. Is it because venue space is more expensive during the holiday season and the producers weren't sure if they could recoup? certainly many venues would prefer to put on holiday shows during this period. the production was made non equity, so obviously they thought there was only so much money to be made. what a great show this was at the Imperial Theatre...Wish i could still "grab a cab and go down" to see it....
