How about LincTix??? You can join that and get one ticket for $32. Perhaps the box office would let you get that one and the one next to it at the student rush price. (I don't know. I also thought the rush was 2 per ID, but I use the LincTix offers.)

Thanks! I looked at LincTix, but unfortunately I won't be 21 until next April.... and it says that the rush policy is 1 per, unless something has changed.

Ok. I don't use the rush-I typically book in advance with the LincTix.

I believe this show has consistently been on TKTS. I saw it last Wednesday matinee and there were plenty of empty seats so you can probably get tickets at half price with service fees. Still not the $32 or whatever rush is, but cheaper than full price for sure. And you can probably just get one rush and one TKTS - although you would not have seats together, you can probably move to empty seats for second act.

Okay, this is a multi-part plan, but it could work.

Step one: join tdf (tdf.org). If you're a full-time student you ought to be eligible. It is $30 per year.

Step two: buy two tickets to Act One for June 11th. The ticket price is somewhere around $39 per and there is a $4 per order handling charge. And the seats would be together. Okay, there is no seat selection and so maybe the seats won't be 8th row center, in the Beaumont it doesn't matter that much.

And step three: you'd print out the confirmation and pick up the tix there on the 11th

Look into it now.

And use the site to buy tix when you come to the city again within the next year.
