I get this movie is trying to be a copy of "Love Actually" but it ends up being a jumbled mess. Did this get the green light just because Garry Marshall was involved?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

They were trying to replicate the (commercial) success of the similarly styled Valentine's Day. I didn't hate it. Trapped in an elevator with Lea Michele...hmm, would have been more interesting if it were Jordan Catalano instead of Ashton Kutcher.

The Sarah Jessica-Parker story should have been eliminated. They gave that storyline zero attention and bordered on the ridiculous. S J-P running through the New Year's crowd trying to find her daughter? And then having a casual chat with her in a restaurant afterwards? Obviously nobody associated with this film has ever been to Times Square on New Years Eve. You literally can't move and it takes hours to get anywhere even after the ball has dropped. Not to mention that the area is closed off at 6:00 pm and it's next to impossible to get in.

The baby storyline was a bit creepy. I know it was supposed to be funny, but those characters came across as negligent parents.

And that horse that showed up for Josh Duhamel at the end of the movie was a major disappointment. "Run back to the party Josh, run back to the party and go with the two hot girls."
