How on earth did I not know this existed before tonight?

Thank god for On Demand catch-up.
It's a little creepy but it would be worse if you knew what you were talking about.

Oh Namo! It's a train wreck and I can't look away! She's delusional (still maintaining that nepotism had nothing to do with her 90210 role) and he is playing her at every turn. Their fairy tale romance began when they were BOTH married to other people. Surely it has to be brought up at some point that this is NOT the first time he has cheated. This is just the first time when he got caught. He says he cheated because they didn't have sex the night before he left town? lol. (She obviously knew about his sex obsession. She got pregnant ONE WEEK after having her third c-section. She said she didn't want him to think the fire had gone out. Wha?!). She said she went to a sex shop to buy things he wants to try?! lol. It's too damn much. And to act like they are doing all of this without nannies, which they HAVE. They are also having way too many of these discussions and arguments in front of their kids. Then, they CONSTANTLY complain about paparazzi, yet they film every moment of their lives for reality TV.

In short, these people are completely full of sh!t and yet I can't stop watching.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

It got so bad that even I had to stop watching, and I love some reality shows. Like Honey boo boo!

anyway, I can't stand the look of that phony baloney bloated squinty eyed Dean. And I have always loved Tori but this is TMI and I'm embarrassed for her.

I used to watch their other show. The kids were cute and funny but I can't watch a moment of this. It's TMI to the Nth degree and the promo showing their kid crying just mad me made.

If you believe the tabloids, they're broke. So a girl has got to make a living. Candy should just write her a big ole check.

The certainly don't *look* broke! I sorta kinda binge watched all the episodes last night and today. Somewhere in episode 4 or 5 as Tori was breaking down telling the fairytale story of the love of her life yet again and she broke down because it's not fair, I just wanted PalJoey to show up and play her "Now You Know" from "Merrily…".

Why doesn't her gay best friend Mehran (who's looking sexier than ever) know to administer Musical Tough Love on the poor thing?

How dare that mother (who now looks younger than Tori) not support her daughter with all her billions? My mother would be giving me millions.

Candy is going to spend it all or take it with her. Actually Tori has a new show with Jennie Garth. I think it premieres in the fall.

It's hard to think of an actress less talented than Tori Spelling.
No good can possibly come from using this vast wasteland of error and deliberate deceit. You should get off of it and warn others away. You should make sure your children and grandchildren know what a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution it truly is.

My friend keeps insisting they are loaded. They really aren't. They seem to live above their means and Tori got very very little from her dad's estate. Dean has never been much beyond a movie of the week guy and he has expensive hobbies. He can't even fathom turning down a Canadian competition show. They are hard up. Full time nannies, huge houses and such cost a pretty penny.

I hope that what we see isn't what's happening behind closed doors re Candy Spelling. I'm repeating this-how can a flithy rich, aging woman not support her own daughter who is suffering?

Jane, for years, Candy and Tori did not have a relationship after Aaron died. Candy would not have anything to do with her. Only within the last year, they have mended some of their relationship. Tori should feel lucky ,now, if Candy throws her a couple of bucks, here and there. In past years, she gave her nothing. But you are 100% right. These are also her grandchildren. She can definitely afford it.

I remember that whole rift between the two of them, and find it hard to believe a mother and daughter could go that long without speaking. And how could the father not leave plenty of money to his daughter? I must be naive.

The relationship has been pretty off and on, I think. I seem to remember Candy lavishing the oldest kid with a lot of gifts when he was a baby, then they weren't in contact at all when the second kid came. There was a huge (probably fabricated) drama about her being invited to the baby's first birthday party, then RSVPing and not showing. Then three and four came so fast that I couldn't keep up.

Broke my ass! When I think of the hard working people I know, many with kids, that don't have two dimes to rub together, and really don't know where their next dollar is coming from, it sickens me even more that anyone would give these two talentless attention whores one second of sympathy. I think the whole thing is a load of crap. And if there's an ounce of truth in it, they both deserve each other.

It makes me feel sorry for heterosexuals in general. Unrealistic expectations and fairy tales as templates for their relationships and all these impediments to clear communication. It's like men and women speak different languages. I would totally go lesbian if I were a straight woman.

I like to call this show, Karma's a Bitch. I only lasted 2 episodes. Personally I'm surprised I watched it at all.

I found that sitcom she did aeons ago with Zachary Quinto to be reasonably entertaining.
"It's now rather very common to hear people say 'I'm rather offended by that'. As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more than a whine. It has no meaning, no purpose. It has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that'. Well, so f**king what?"--Stephen Fry

I'd completely forgotten about it (was it called noTORIous or something?) I sorta liked it too, though all I remember now is some gay scene in a steam room with Quinto and that it kinda got lost in the shuffle with other faux reality show series at the time (and better ones in the case of The Comeback--at least I have it in my head that they were around the same time.) Still, it does seem a little sad to go from a fake reality show where she basically is saying "This is why I would never do a reality show," to having done several.

Dean's first wife, Mary Jo Eustace, used to co-host an insanely popular (for Canada) cooking show and pop up elsewhere as a Canadian tv personality. I used to always kinda like her--certainly she comes off as far more intelligent than Dean ever has. However, since then she seems to have milked her career for an eternity out of projects related to how she was cheated on which is kinda getting old...

If they get paid by the number of times they mention the name of the show that Dean is leaving to do, they are good to go. They have just called Tori's show "my new TV show," but, "CHOPPED CANADA" gets dropped every 2 minutes.

Annnnnd, "I know what I want to say, but the kids are here. Do you want to go upstairs so we can talk?" The kinds in question are 18 months, 2, 5 & 7. Does the 7 year old watch the baby while the 5 year old watches the 2 year old? No, they have NANNIES!!!! Ugh. I hate these assholes.

They tried to use this show as hype, I guess. I will admit that I mostly skipped through this nonsense.

So, next week, on the big reunion, (huh?!), they are asking Tori and Dean the tough questions.

Are they together?
Does anyone care at this point?

Was the affair fake?
Wait... What?

Were there more women?
No matter what that bastard says, I will never believe this is his first and only.

Now I have to watch one more week.

I really hadn't planned on watching this, but the other day I saw a clip on The Soup that was so spellbinding I read this thread and then got myself caught up yesterday. The clip was from the next to last episode where they were fighting about whatever they were fighting about, and it all just read so fake to me. Like, seriously, I thought I was watching two people doing some of the worst improv I've ever seen. Like, every time Dean said something, Tori completely negated or contradicted what he said. They need a little more "yes, and..." for next season. Maybe bring someone in from The Groundlings to give their long-form pieces a little more shape.

Was the affair fake?

I just read something before I watched it about how the woman he allegedly had his affair with doesn't seem to exist (she has no digital footprint, etc). Like I said (and I know all reality shows are fake) but this one just rings extra fake to me.
