Chris Colfer. His agent must have made a deal with the devil to get him so much work.

"Glee star Chris Colfer is thought to be making an appearance in the new film."

Well, if anyone was wondering how to make AB FAB even gayer...
Everyone is aware that "Sutton Ross" used to go by "Sue Storm". Right?

Well, hopefully it will be a very brief cameo. Of course I'm looking forward to an AbFab movie, but I do wonder if it will really work outside the confines of a studio performance and without a laugh track. That probably sounds regressive, but it always felt like, on the show, they were playing to the audience -- whether an audience was there or not. Without that, I wonder if the humor will work as well in a movie format. Guess we'll find out.

I treasure the early years of AbFab, and many of its memes are permanently embedded in my psyche. ("I'm on my mobile!" "Lots of lovely photos..." "Oh, for God's sake, just DIE already!!" etc.)

The perfect cast, working with the perfect material at just the right moment and they caught lightning in a bottle. The later seasons left me cold, and I don't have high hopes for a film--even with Chris Colfer.

The few times they've had scenes without a laugh track (or a live audience or both) have been deadly. I would love another TV movie, but I think they would be out of their element in a feature film.

Has anyone seen the French attempt at an ABFAB movie? It look horrible, but I've always been interested in seeing it.

I love the French title. Even more, I love the idea of Jennifer Saunders (as Edina), trying to pronounce it.

There were outtakes on the series DVD of scenes not filmed in front of an audience that did not evoke a smile from me. The finished scenes had the audience reaction added following a screening which helped them flow with the studio-shot scenes. I hope the writing/performances for the movie will be strong enough to overcome the lack of audience laughter. "Blackadder: Back and Forth" and The "Are You Being Served?" movie were decent efforts of this sort, in my opinion.

And June Whitfield... her lines in the last three series don't have the bite they used to and Gran's character just does not do much in the stories. I hope Jennifer Saunders addresses this in the upcoming film.
