so I've been listening to the Nerdist podcasts lately... i've started to become a fan of Chris Hardwick... I'm enjoying it... anybody have any good podcast recommendations that are pop culture related that's also comedic in nature? something like The Soup or @Midnight or Tosh.0... thanks!

WTF with Marc Maron is still the king of podcasts for me.
I was really into How Was Your Week until I got really sick of Julie Klausner.
The Fogelnest Files
The Dana Gould Hour--He takes forever to put them out, but they're worth the wait.
Sound Opinions
You Made It Weird is hit or miss, but can be one of the best when it's on a hot streak. The Zack Galifinakis and Harland Williams episodes are really funny.

I'm a huge fan of podcasts. It's like the old school Dick Cavett show or CHarlie Rose without his constant interruptions.

Also check out the podcasts at the American Theatre Wing.
"It's now rather very common to hear people say 'I'm rather offended by that'. As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more than a whine. It has no meaning, no purpose. It has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that'. Well, so f**king what?"--Stephen Fry

THE MOTH:
The Moth is amazing -- storytelling from ordinary people recorded live in venues across the US (sometimes famous people) -- stories are sometimes VERY funny, others are incredibly moving.

THIS AMERICAN LIFE:
I'ms sure you know it, Ira Glass, a theme for each weekly show, explored in 1-3 beautifully produced radio stories -- often humorous. They were hot on David Sedaris way before anyone else.

THE DINNER PARTY DOWNLOAD:
Couple of erudite fellas from NY and LA. Weekly podcast. Supposed to get you ready for your weekend, so you have something to discuss at brunch or dinner that weekend. Kind of amazing lineup of celebrity guests/interviews, regular segments like a cocktail made for a specific day in history and etiquette questions for everyone from Elaine Stritch to Andrew Dice Clay.

THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW:
Phil Hendrie is comedic genius. For years he was on 'regular' talk radio on which he seemd to have what, at first listen, appears to be a regular AM talk radio show with lots of idiots/nutcases calling in. But, it turns out, Phil is in the studio by himself doing all of these voices -- literally dozens of different voices -- men, women, kids, young, old. Listeners call in outraged at the terrible things these people are saying and have no idea that they're actually just talking to Phil sitting in a studio all by himself. He's brilliant and deeply under-appreciated. No one. Anywhere does what he does, nor could they.

COMEDY BANG-BANG AND WTF:
