The return of Stanley Donen...?

I don't recall this being mentioned or discussed anywhere, but articles about it are fairly recent, from December of last year.

May wrote it, Nichols would produce, and Donen would direct. The reading involved Christopher Walken, Charles Grodin, and Ron Rifkin.

Does anyone know anything? Donen's now 90 years old, but if you've seen any recent interviews with him, he appears not only healthy, but also quite vital and rascally as ever, so he's probably got it in him.

I watched Two For the Road the other day for maybe the 100th time. It's so well made. Nichols, May and Donen making a movie in 2014!

He directed On the Town - with Pal Joey...er Gene Kelly - in 1949. That's a 65 year spread. I really hope this happens.

Nichols, May and Donen? That would be amazing. Surely Nichols has the clout (and $$) to make this happen if he really wants to.

Also, I had no idea that Donen and May were a couple. I don't usually care about celebrity personal lives, but that for some reason it makes me happy that they're together.
