Has anyone stayed at the Row NYC hotel? I might have an opportunity to visit NYC mid-June for one night and was thinking of staying at this hotel. I've stayed at the Belvedere Hotel in the past and was very satisfied. Row NYC is a bit less money per night.

I'll probably only have time to see two shows. I was thinking of If/Then and Of Mice and Men. Any thoughts? I haven't been to NYC in a few years so any of the new shows I have not seen. The last show I saw on Broadway was Promises, Promises so it's been a while.

All opinions and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

All I can tell you it used to be the Milford Plaza

They completely redid it inside. It looks very modern . They do not have a restaurant inside .All they have food wise is a pizza bar .The pizza is,quite good however. There is plenty of room to sit and relax .They also also have a row of flat screen computers you can use in the lobby.

The lack of a restaurant is no problem as there are plenty of restaurants on 8th Avenue and the surrounding area.

Hope this helps

Stayed there over Christmas (Milford Plaza, as was). It's fine. Location is perfect for Broadway.

Thanks so much for the info on the Row NYC hotel. It sounds like it will be just fine for my needs.

Any thoughts on If/Then and Of Mice and Men?

I can get 13th row orchestra, two seats off the aisle for If/Then and a seat in the back couple of rows in the orchestra for Of Mice and Men.

LOL ok i booked a room at the Row NYC, thinking wow those rooms look a lot like the Milford when I was there during Sandy. I used to stay at the Milford almost every trip.

I had no idea its name changed when I booked the room.

I don't think there are any bad seats for If/Then. I was 8th row Orch next to the wall and even that wasn't partial view. If you're saying you can get 13th row, center (off the center aisle) tickets....not sure why you need input. lol

(And I'll also be seeing If/Then on said trip, almost twinsies! ps Woot MDNA!)

Thanks for your response veronicamae. I figured the 13th row off the aisle would be fine but value everyone's opinion and hoped someone has sat near this row at the Richard Rodgers Theatre and could share their experience. Some theaters are better than others with seating and it's good to know there's not a bad seat at Richard Rodgers theatre for If/Then. I appreciate that information. I take it you liked If/Then if you are going back to see it again!

I completely forgot I had Madonna from the MDNA tour as my profile photo. I guess it's been way too long since I have posted something on this board and should look for something more current. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks again!
