Hmmm. Well that lasted less than 3 years. SAD. And yes.. I am bored and know that most of you don't give a crap.

It's always been her dream to be the fist twice-divorced-more-abortions-than-she-can-count angel in Heaven. I feel like one more divorce will be more divorces than she can count.

I remember when she would go on and on about her wedding and Whoopi would look at her all stoned like she was crazy.

She's a funny actress and all, but just garbage as a person.

They should abort. In Jesus' Name.

I think next weeks View shows might be pre-taped because of Barbaras exit. Convenient time for announcement?

Ok, I can't STAND her. BUT-she IS a good comedic actress. Also an imbecile. I think the guy married her in order to eventually divorce and get money.

p.s. the VIEW has been sucking for a while now. I like the TALK.

I blame Eva Longoria's Lesbian Steakhouse. And Judy Garland.

"Ok, I can't STAND her. BUT-she IS a good comedic actress."

Same here. "Queen of Jordan" was possibly the greatest "30 Rock" episode.
It's a little creepy but it would be worse if you knew what you were talking about.

Right? She had a funny guest spot on Friends, too. She's a wonderful comedienne. She's just such a dumb, insufferable asshole in real life.

Namo, did you ever watch when she had her own sitcom for a while? It was really funny. Cancelled pretty early, I don't know why.

If I have to hear this woman explain comedy one more time...!

"But what you have to understand is (s)he's a comic!"
"they're a comic!"
"comics are going to say jokes..."
"COMIC!"
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

So.. What? Her husband finally listened to what she says when she opens that lipstick-clad gash across her face?

i guess we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but I imagine she is beyond difficult to deal with. I get the feeling she's a miserable jaded woman with a little bit of fame and thinks she's God, yet believes the world is flat.

I read a blind item about it a few days ago. Apparently he was always taking business trips, despite having no business, to where his ex lives. He was laughing to his friends about how dumb she is.

I don't think I imagined what I saw one day on the View when Mario Cantone was a guest host. Sherri started the hour the way she always does-bopping her shoulders up and down and trying to dance. Only this day she didn't stop. At all. There was a guest chef and Sherri was bopping away all the while the chef was cooking. She was almost totally in front of Mario swinging her arms around. I swear I heard him say quietly to her - "stop it." But she wouldn't. She exaggerated it more. She bopped for the whole hour. It was like she was doing it on purpose to make Mario angry.

I don't know her, or the identities of the posters, but lots of this is conjecture and not really based on any personal, first-hand knowledge. This thread is pretty mean. I'm an educated 20+ year broadcaster myself, and though I find her ability to act silly, appropriate--as a comic and an accomplished actor who happens to book LOTS of jobs, mind you--I do not find her "stupid" at all. Think about it; if that's her act, she's snowed you all because she's *that* good. Plus, it's kind of water under the bridge to cut on a woman for something she said with a bad case of nerves 4 years ago in her first month on the air with a huge national talk show with Barbara Walters as her boss. You can't really knock it til you try it and see how you'd fare.

As for her relationship with her husband, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, either, and that's fine. There's two sides to every story. If she's "sick of supporting him" and if he's "a writer who flies off to gigs that weren't really gigs, near where his ex lives," that's their own BS to deal with--both, not just one or the other. At least they're not airing it out constantly like Tori Spelling and that wretch of a cheating horny husband of hers. I can't stand reality shows, but actually have watched some of the previous ones. But I digress.

Back to Sherri.

Humanity, people.
"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had the practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --Alice in Wonderland
