Soundcloud is now streaming "You Learn to Live Without" from the cast recording.

I'm glad it doesn't sound too over-produced. Idina sounds very raw here.

Can't wait for the cd. I loved the music in this show. Was humming it at intermission.

I really love Anthony's song in the first act, "Ain't No Man Manhattan".

I see they've retained some of the verses from DC. Love this. Idina sounds perfect.

According to facebook it's only available for a day strangely, so you might want to listen to it soon and/or rip it.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Sounds great. I have a feeling that I'll enjoy the cast recording far more than the show.

Rear mezz. I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more, had I sat closer.

Question for those who have seen the show. I am getting a ticket, and there are some front row seats available (for the same price as other orchestra seats). Do you know if they are obstructed view?

By the way, loved the song.

If they are in the center, it is a high stage, but not obstructed. The extreme sides may miss some upper level stuff and things that happen further back on that side of things.

It is center orchestra, but left side of center. Would you recommend a few rows back?

If you can go a couple rows back without ending up premium, you'd probably be better off.

I sat front mezz left. Perfect view and I love how you could see the lights in the floor and also their reflection in the mirror. Especially the scenes with the subway map and her 11:00 number.

I don't usually like sitting on the side, but I had F10 on the right and it was perfect. You can see the actors up close and really don't miss anything. Could not recommend this highly enough. The show wasn't perfect, but I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the recording.

I guess those who haven't heard it will have to......Learn to Live Without. (sorry I couldn't help the bad pun)
