At last -- a project worthy of Rob Marshall and Zack Snyder.

Maybe Joel Shumacher can be lured from retirement. Just think of all the Spandex!

As the resident Power Rangers fan (meaning more than just MMPR) of this board I will say yes. Yes it is happening. It's an MMPR Reboot. I'm excited and I hope they put some money behind and get some good actors. I demand Lena Headey or Jessica Lange as Rita. I will accept no substitutes.

I'm on board if it's a reboot of the original series, or at least the original American version of it. The original was the best. I wonder if the first film will include the Tommy character or if they'll start with the original five.

The original was the best.

Ugh... no. Sorry. But watch some of in Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, DinoThunder, and RPM. It's one thing to LIKE the original the best, but it is so bad in terms of story.

The original movie was epic. One of the best times of my life was going with my friends to the theater and seeing the first movie.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Such great make-up. It would have been CGI today.
