THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE is a hilarious tale of overachievers' angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

WHERE - Dunellen Senior Center (Columbia Park, Dunellen, NJ off of South Washington Ave). Rehearsals will also take place in the Dunellen Senior Center, and performances will take place at Washington Memorial Park, Dunellen, NJ.

WHEN - Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 3:00-7:00 pm. Performances Dates: August 15th-17th, and

August 22nd -24th

WHAT TO PREPARE - Please prepare a 32-bar selection from a song that showcases the following: Vocal Range and Dynamics, as well as your ability to communicate through the song. Keep in mind that this show is improvisational and requires audience interaction and participation.
