Actress Phyllis Frelich, Tony Award winner for her performance in "Children of a Lesser God" (a role that won Marlee Matlin the Oscar) has died at age 70. She was also an Emmy nominee.

So sorry to hear this.

She was wonderful in Children of a Lesser God and the revival of Big River.

I know this was days ago, but was so sad to hear this news and didnt see the thread before.

Ms. Frelich was stunning in "Children of a Lesser God" and broke my heart in her Emmy nominated role in "Love is Never Silent", one of the best TV movies ever made.
