I just got back and it was incredible. I loved every moment of it and wish I could watch it with the awe and joy of a first time viewing again and again and again.

It was a BWW party at Cabaret, apparently! I was in the rear mezz as well. Absolutely phenomenal production!

I was there too, front-center mezzanine! Small world. The production was phenomenal, no surprise. It was a privilege to see Alan Cumming in his iconic performance, how surreal to watch it happen before my eyes.

I thought Williams was a brilliant Sally. She didn't emphasize Sally's sensuality, as many actresses are wont to do, but she played her as the oblivious, frustrating, and oddly magnetic waif I imagined her to be. Her readings of "Maybe This Time" and the title song were compelling and vividly expressed. Emond and Burnstein were devastating, they have such a tangible chemistry.

Has there been any changes during the previews period?

I was wondering that to! this is pretty much the exact show from the 1998 revival so I was wondering why is the preview span so long? I'm going back in July so i can see what they changed from when I saw it last week.

The more I think of Michelle's performance, the more I think she may have been perfection. Especially her final scene when Cliff leaves for America. Most actresses play that scene a weeping mess, but she was strangely icy towards Cliff up until the line about dedicating his book to her. Wonderful.

And her scene after "I Don't Care Very Much" as she is running back into the Klub was fantastic.

If Natasha Ric**** won because of her performance as Sally and Michelle is sooooooooo much better she really has a lot of drama in here portray of the roll I think Michelle can Win the Tony!

I'm a novice. Why is it so hard to get Cabaret tickets when they didn't even sell out last week? I'm shooting for the end of May and they want massive amounts. I would appreciate any help. I'm so not in the know.

This show is pretty much sold out all the time, not sure what you think happened last week.

The grosses said 96% capacity, I'm having a family get together for the Tuesday and Wednesday after Memorial Day and some of us, especially me, wanted to enthrall my sibs with Cabaret, their could be 8 or more of us, should I forget that dream and just try and see it with my wife and stepdaughter? Seems like a wealthy persons ticket. Thanks for any response. We wouldn't need to sit together, any strategy?

I think those few % were people who exchanged tickets for a later date because Michelle was out sick for a show or two. It is often 100% sold out.

It is also a show put on by a company with subscribers, who are able to cancel/exchange their seats, so seats are always becoming available. That said, subscribers typically have the $162 seats, not the obstructed view/corner of the balcony ones.

You'll also have trouble getting 8 for the same day. Not that you can't, but you're unlikely to get 8 to show up at once. You may need to buy two tomorrow, one the next day, etc., etc., and you might hit your number, but no way to tell. Best seating is for July/August now.

The bar stool seats ($122) at the back of orchestra are not sold that Tuesday after Memorial Day.

Can it be assumed that if you get on a line the day of the performance, real early, that you'll be able to get some good seats at full price?

Granted I haven't seen most of the potential nominees but I would really be thrilled if Michelle won the Tony...the more I think about her performance the more brilliant I realize it is. And I'm sure she'll only get better and more comfortable as the run goes on.

I think Linda Edmond’s performance is far more worthy of a Tony nomination than Ms Williams.
I have no idea what this Sally was doing on that stage and I’m afraid neither did she. IMHO She’s miscast. As for the rest of the show, it still packs a bit of a punch but seems more like a zerox of a zerox of a zerox.

"Can it be assumed that if you get on a line the day of the performance, real early, that you'll be able to get some good seats at full price?"

No, their rush is based on availability, so if the show is completely sold out, there is no rush.

Its best to check the Roundabout website daily for the date you want. Six amazing orchestra table seats opened up three days before the performance I wanted. Also, the nice thing is Roundabout doesnt have premium seating so the most youll pay is $162 for a great seat.

Well, Roundabout actually does have premium pricing for Cabaret starting in early July.
