So happy to see If/Then doing so well! They easily would've hit 1 million had they done 8 performances!

How wonderful to see such an original piece (If/Then) off to such a strong start. I really hope it can maintain those numbers for a good while.

Surely those numbers can be mostly attributed to Idina's involvement with FROZEN (and ensuing press tour/Oscars/etc.), right?

What a low number for After Midnight! But where does BBW get the weekly running cost for shows?

I wouldn't really agree with "mostly", but it sure doesn't hurt.

If the weather would just cooperate, we may start seeing better numbers for some shows. While glad to see Rocky go up a little, not happy to see Bridges not rise as well.

fashion guru, there's nothing in the grosses about running cost.

Sorry, how does it get the "potential gross"?

I imagine it's what they would make if they sold every seat in the house at full price.

Potential is the total number of seats sold and standing room if everything was sold at face value and sold out 8 performances a week.

I' sorry but a $400 increase in gross hardly matters, and it is still running below its nut.

I should be helped by the Tony nods it will get. Hope it lasts until than.

A lot of the new shows are holding on tight for Tony nominations or awards. Sadly, most won't survive.

Bridges closing before the Tony's doesn't bode well for O'Hara...

I guess that Carly and Fran are doing their job of putting people in the seats and keeping the show on very solid financial footing until the spring tourist season rolls around. The producers don't look so dumb now, do they?

I see them holding on until than. A number of Tony wins will help the box office a lot.

Tony nominations have little effect on grosses. Winning several does. A lot of shows opening in the next month....a lot of competition. Underperforming shows don't have a chance of recouping.

What evic said.

Tony nominations will NOT help Bridges. Appealing to a wider audience will. Unfortunately, it can never do that simply because of its source material. As I have said multiple times... There are only so many middle-aged housewives with money to spend out there. There's a ceiling to that demographic.

As much as I loved Bridges, I don't think it is going to be able to compete with If/Then and Bullets Over Broadway come Tony time. I can see Bridges getting a lot of nominations, and rightfully so, but If/Then pretty much has best score locked in IMO.
