Houston Area Scene Study with David Rainey

David Rainey is conducting a 6-week scene study class on Monday nights to give actors ongoing coaching on the basic tenants of acting.

Dates: April 14-May 19, 2014

Time: 6:30-10:30pm

Students work on two scenes with partners and one monologue. Developed scenes and monologues will be presented on the final class day.


David Rainey has been a member of the Alley Theatre’s Resident Company for the past 14 years, and is the Founder and Executive Director of The Landing Theatre Company in Houston. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he received the Juilliard Theatre Center’s highest honor, The Michel and Suria Saint-Denis Prize, and over the years has received numerous awards and nominations of his work as an actor and director.
