A smooth waxed chest makes Joseph look younger, he is the youngest Bro. Right?

Always found it interesting that Diana was never picked up for any Wicked production, be it tour or Broadway. Maybe it just never worked out, maybe it was another factor. Even as ensemble member, she could've been very useful as an Ensemble, u/s Glinda and Elphaba. Very very talented singer/actress.

Curious that the show has been playing for over a week and still hasn't been reviewed in LA.

Had to bump this up. There has to be a reason why none of the mainstream LA press have reviewed this production but can't understand why. It's playing The Pantages and has been up for over 2 weeks.

I actually paid money to see this show, full price (I know, I know...) but why hasn't this been reviewed in LA Times, Variety or The Hollywood Reporter, LA Daily News or Orange County Register?

Thanks theater diva 90016

Just surprised there aren't any reviews for the show from mainstream outlets - I didn't know artsla.com existed but I'll check it out

I'm seeing the show in April. What kind of merchandise is available? Really hoping there's a cast album featuring this cast! Would love to have Diana as the Narrator on CD!

Funny.

Given Troika did their own recording, I kind of thought they'd sell that.

I saw this recently. What can one possibly say about this production? It is by far one of the tackiest, cheapest, and weakest touring productions I have seen in a long time (up there with Flashdance and the NETworks Beauty and the Beast tour). **possible spoilers ahead**

There are no standouts in the cast, so I won't even comment on that. I will say that Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo were passable, but just barely. The set is just three giant fabric curtains and some boxes. The projections were ineffective, tacky, and at times just plain random (i.e. fish swimming through the ocean during a Pharaoh Story).

I'm really not sure what approach the director took with the material. The show is all over the place with no consistency whatsoever. The opening left me extremely puzzled. It shows a young boy (Joseph) in bed dreaming about a choo choo train. He then wakes up then goes to high school, a fancy college, then the city in rapid succession. Then boom we are in Ancient Egypt. It made no sense.

We have a new inductee into the cannon of bad national tours with this tawdry mess of a production.

at the end of the day they made this show to replace "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber"

the singing was phenomenal. My season ticket friends & I enjoyed this show over Once... it WAS entertaining.
