When Kass shot the bird to Trish last night, I just burst out laughing. That might be one of my all-time favorite SURVIVOR moments.
Everyone is aware that "Sutton Ross" used to go by "Sue Storm". Right?

The reactions of the jury were great!

Oh, I agree that Kass has not been likable, but that really seems to be her personality. She can be smug and self-righteous, but she displays it so differently from the others and that is what has worked to her advantage. She keeps her emotions in check and her controlled response is what drives others into a frenzy. She's successfully convinced people to keep her around because she's unlikable, but at the same time, never stopped strategizing. I actually find her intriguing. She's off-putting and fascinating at the same time.

I can't recall the last time I saw a jury that animated watching a tribal. To me, it seemed pretty clear Tony has an uphill battle should he make it to the final. The jury was pretty sick of listening to his antics.

I think Kass is way more off putting than she is fascinating but since she gave Trish the finger I don't hate her anymore. It was also really fun watching her drive Tony and Trish crazy.
I think I'm just bitter because I blame her for Tasha going home.
Tony knew he couldn't use an idol after this tribal. He mentioned it in the episode. I can't understand why he didn't use both. But glad he didn't.

Kass is truly the brains and I actually admire her strategy.

Tony is the best player, but he is his own worst enemy. I think even though everyone hates him, he could still win because of how hard he played. People may respect that, after they get over that he outplayed them.

Spencer was on the wrong side of bad luck. I want him to win!!

HUGE win for Kass!

Loving this tonight...

I am rooting for either Spencer or Kass to bring it home.

Woo is (hands down) the absolute STUPIDEST player this game had ever seen. Whether or not he wins, voting of Kass was the dumbest thing anyone could have done this season. I don't want EITHER of the final two to win now.

Thinking about it, it seems that Woo has gone back on his word more than Tony has throughout the game.

Spencer just summed it all up.
Can't disagree with him...

But, damn. I wanted Spencer to win.

Morgan, or whatever her dumbass name is, sounded like the stereotypical dumb blonde. And talk about setting feminism back. What a loser.

Trish was BRUTAL. Honest. BRUTAL.

I hate that they kept calling Kass a goat.

I hope Tony wins but I still want them both to lose. I can't decide if the entire season is ruined for me now. Lol

Very cool.

And interesting about the 'special' idol.
Cool season, overall.

Everyone mentioned how great 'Blood vs. Water' was and I decided not to watch it because I wanted to take a break from reality TV and I did not like most of the players returning. Today after reading that the next season will be 'Blood vs. Water' again, this was what I have to say about skipping that season. To quote Gale Sondergaard who turned down the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in the legendary film, 'The Wizard of Oz', "I have absolutely no regrets. No regrets whatsoever."

I loved this season- thought it was one of the best in a very long time. I'm pretty disappointed they're going back to Blood vs. Water again. Not because I detested it the first time around, but because Survivor is almost always better when it is gimmick and returning player free.

Just go out there and cast the show well and the drama will arise naturally. Kass, Spencer, Tony, Woo, Tasha, Trish- they were all really compelling people/characters and they didn't need anything other than their personalities to keep the show going.

Can we at least hope that this Blood vs. Water will be Redemption Island free?

This! Redemption Island and Returning Players are probably my least favorite Survivor shtick.

I only skimmed the finale, so I didn't know about Blood vs Water until this thread. I liked Spencer and I'll miss that huffy and agitated way he'd kept when things would go awry. Kass just bugged the hell out of me. I was glad to see it go back to two players at the end.

It definitely cheapens the experience when the same players get to return over and over again. The stakes are considerably lower when they mention it's a once in a lifetime experience when every viewer knows they'll be back in a season or two. Hell, Malcolm got to come back the very next cycle!

I loved Spencer and am sorry he didn't win, but he got his shot in the game. Let other players have a chance.
