That's sort of the point from the producer's perspective, people want to know what they're getting in advance, etc.

True but IMO Broadway has had enough of these and I prefer original songs.

One thing I discovered from this thread. "One less bell to answer" was written for Keely Smith and what a wonderful recording it is...

I loved the 5th Dimension. But, actually like the Blood, Sweat & Tears take on Laura Nyro songs better.
