Moony, since I spoke of my team's success a few weeks ago, we have seen nothing but disaster. A long string of injuries to our most important players and now our coach has been diagnosed with Giullain-Barre syndrome. I seem to have been the most amazing jinx. So, much to Hawthorn's delight, I will stop talking about them now.

Morning peeps! Pavers are being delivered today.Hopefully the project will be completed by this weekend. It seems like this has been going on forever...thanks to this crappy weather we've been having.

Rehearsals have been interesting. What an array of characters are in this show. And I'm not talking about the roles they're playing. The guy who is playing Annas (or as I like to call him, Anus)has to sing everyone's part if they're not there. Last night he was singing Jesus' part. He kept having the musical director go over one part of Jesus' song and another cast member turned to me and was like "is he really going over how Jesus' part goes?" I said, "isn't he the understudy of everyone's role? I can't wait for him to sing 'I don't know how to love him'" The director thinks he has Assburgers (sp?) disease. He was so intent on learning Jesus' part that he was late for his own. We also have to watch what we say because Judas is his son. Oh how I've missed the theatre!!!

HEP!!! So sorry i missed you! I feel for your team slump. My beloved Nats have been on a real losing streak of late and they are slipping further and further back in their division. Like the Hawks, they have been plagued with injuries. So, yes, I feel your fanpain.

Oh, Boobs, those are the things I definitely do NOT miss.

I hope Jesus doesn't ever walk in while this is going on. That happened to me once during LITTLE SHOP... The guy playing the Dentist really, really, really wanted to play Seymour, and one day I walked into the rehearsal room to hear him tearing through MY songs. He had a much better voice than I do. I was not happy. I was polite. But not happy.

And since I was sleeping with the musical director at the time...

Well, suffice to say he wasn't sleeping with me after he let that little episode happen.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Moony, there are some talented people in the cast. Anus just thinks he's better than he is while others are better than they give themselves credit for. He's already told me that he uses my song for his auditions. I know he's dying to sing it, but there is no need to being it's a solo.

Deet, at one rehearsal he started singing one of Jesus' lines and Jesus in his gentle voice (love him) said "I'm here". The director is playing one of the priest and Anus kept singing one of his lines that finally the director just said "why don't you keep it" Sings: What do we do about this Anus maniac?

Mooney - any vacations planned? We have our standard 7/4 trek to Nebraska and hoping for a week in Wisconsin in August. But, usually we end up staying home.

'Morning! More and more I like that plan, Boobs!

Hep - every time I'm at a Nats game they lose, so they're not thrilled to see me when I walk into the ballpark.

Brd - I'm flying down to Gulfport in a few weeks to visit my Mom for her 87th birthday. In July hubby and I are going to Montreal, then head to Maine for a week. I spend 51 weeks of the year waiting fir that 1 week in Maine. I also have a weekend trip to NYC to see Addy and Hugh Jackman (in that order) and an afternoon in NJ to see Boobs' tour-de-force performance. Last year at this time I was packing to go to France. This is my domestic year.

Boobs, I DVR'd it, also. I hope to be able to watch this weekend.

Moony, domestic travel is wonderful. I always envy that week in Maine. I haven't been in such a long time, and think it's one of the most relaxing places to go. We were talking about it at dinner last Friday. Might be time to plan a late summer road trip.
