OMG...I had to share this. I was reading some older posts from last week on All That Chat, and came across this one.

"Last night I saw LADY DAY, which I loved. What I didn't love is the Gay Pride Rainbow at the top of the cover where yellow usually is alone. Inside there's a little editorial about how "Broadway has always been at the crossroads of art and activism."

I'm a gay man who has little rainbow bumper sticker on his car, However, I don't feel that a Playbill cover is the right place for such "activism." There's no reason to be so "in your face" at an event that otherwise is not gay-related at all. If the producers of each show had been able to make the choice of yellow or rainbow, that might have been acceptable, but I think this i ridiculous. Or worse."

Stuck in the airport - now getting to visit the Minneapolis airport for the first time. The Cedar Rapids airport is not a place one wants to spend 4 hours waiting because Dallas is all messed up. Is it bad that it made me smile?

My sister and her husband have spent this week by her father-in-law's bed in an ICU. Late last night we got word that he is losing his battle against a (still unknown) virus. This will be a sad Father's Day weekend for them, I fear. Her husband's kids are on their way to Cleveland this morning to say good bye.

My cousin's husband's birthday is Sunday, so not sure if she's having anything for him or not. The kids hear it's Pops birthday, they expect a party.

My dad's in FL so I just send presents and then have the day free. He's getting the new Dave Barry book and a Columbo Mystery Movie DVD set. We are taking Papa Happy to dinner tonight since Mr Happy and I are in Philly this weekend. I'm excited about our next adventure. For 7 months, we have certainly done a lot already lol. :)

Discovered a new fun breakfast this morning - whole wheat english muffin, avocado hummus, swiss cheese, turkey bacon, egg whites - not quite Eggs Benedict but still tasted pretty yummy.
