Morning peeps! Crazy day after a holiday. My boss is thinking him and I should leave here early being we're supposed to get hit the worse in Central Jersey. He still wants me in tomorrow though either here or the Jersey office. He doesn't want us working from home. WTF???

My first bus out isn't until 2:45.They only do a 1:30 on Friday. They are cross honoring on the train today, but how'd I get home from there? Not walking that in this weather!

Beautiful day here in SoCal! I'm hanging out at Disneyland to day until I have to be at tech tonight.

Maybe my arthritic wrist will stop screaming in pain.

Wow. Just came in from cleaning off the roof of the truck. I'm glad I didn't wait. I had a hard time with it. It would've been worse. Think I'll be doing that periodically through the day/night.

Mom has broken a bone in her foot and is tucked up in bed. It means that Little Miss Clumsy here is doing all her running around. Yesterday, I actually fell up the stairs. I have lovely bruises to show for it today. I'm sure they'll look spectacular with short shorts. Actually, I have no short shorts. Thank goodness for small mercies.

I have an doctor's appointment for my mom up in CT today that I'm waiting to hear about. If the Dr's office is open, I'll drive up. If not, I'll head to my office.

It's not even 9:00am and I'm going stir-crazy. Our roads are covered in ice, though, so I can'ty leave. I'm hoping the sun will melt enough that I can bust out of here sometime this afternoon. With a high of 18, I don't know how effective the sun will be, though.

Morning peeps! I made it into the City...slowly, but I'm here. Be careful out there peeps. Very slippery. If you don't have to go out...don't!!! It was 8 degrees as I walked here. Brrrr

Some of my team members aren't able to make it in - mostly because their area schools are closed so they have to stay home with the kids. Two told me they will be delayed, waiting for plows to clear the streets so they can get to the train. Two are already there.
I expect that the appt in CT will be cancelled, or can be rescheduled, which is what I'd prefer. In which case I'll head to the office.

Hope everyone is very careful. The cold is making things dangerously icy!

I'm working from home for the third day this week. I could get used to this! I'll have to go out soon, though, to start the cleanup. Not looking forward to leaving the comfort of my living room. I am glad I went out a couple times to clean off the roof of my truck and shovel the stuff that came off. That was smart of me for a change. From what I can tell, what's on the roof now, doesn't look too bad. At least looking from the kitchen window, it doesn't seem so. I'll have to start it and get it warmed up and hopefully help loosen what's still on top.
